On Being Creative

Dear Blogging Gods and Goddesses:

Thank you for sending this to me in my RSS feed many moons ago.  I starred it to come back to in times of need.  Today is a time of need.  The muse is very quiet today, but I think she is learning that being creative is easier said than done.  I am working on it.

P.S.  Tomorrow I’ll be taking a break online (#6) to support the SOPA strike.  Now that’s creativity.

A Look Ahead

I was going to close 2011 with another freaking meme (one of those reflection-type things), but I decided against it.  I need to let it go to a challenging year.  The only way I can do that is to live with no regrets and learn from it.

Each day year is not good, but there is something good in each day year.  2011 taught me that.

Do more of what makes you happy.  2011 taught me that.

Live, work, and create.  2011 taught me that.

Scatter kindness.  2011 taught me that.

All you need is love.  2011 taught me that.

Be the change you wish to see in the world.  2011 taught me that.

What will 2012 teach me?  I do not know, but I will let my footprint move forward.

If at First You Don’t Succeed …

… keep flushing!

Residue? Now that’s a real visual. What is it about signs I encounter in school district restrooms? Maybe I should make this a series.

Every Day Is Earth Day

Teach your children what we have taught our children, that the Earth is our mother. Whatever befalls the Earth befalls the sons of the Earth. If men spit upon the ground, they spit upon themselves. This we know – the Earth does not belong to man – man belongs to the Earth. This we know.
